I was born in California, but have called Las Vegas home for 13 years. I come from a family of organizers who have worked on various political and issue campaigns.

 

As a mother of three girls, I understand the daily struggles many mothers face. Layered into my life is the reality that my oldest daughter faces challenges with an IEP, and vision impairment. These struggles have given me a greater sense of purpose and determination to build a bridge between families and the district so OUR children can reach their full potential. I have been active with my children's School Organizing Team (SOT) for the past 5 years.

I understands the desperate need for accessibility and transparency between the school board and families and dedicate time raising awareness to the importance of becoming actively involved with your children's school.
